because it is considered to be a “generic brand”
but I perfer it to coke or pepsi.

because it is a old soda.. and it is not a name brand soda..in the olden days before coke and pepsi became so popular.. you could find it everywhere.. even in the movies..now all you see is coke or pepsi

it isn’t? didn’t know that. probably some technical reason thought up by a lawyer or six having to do with overlapping territories or some such nonsense.
