Soda Vending Machine

I Cant Remember What Movie This Is, I Watched It When I Was A Kid, All The Machines Turn Evil I Think. Help!?

i remember towards the beginning all the like machines and or electronics start turning evil, one thing i remember clearly is soda machines shooting cans at people, violently. and then all the characters in the movie end up at like this truck stop or something and the semi trucks are going evil too, and i think towards the end the truck stop is being circled by evil semis…. thats all i really remember… i hope someone knows thanks

   The first movie Stephen King wrote a screenplay for BEFORE a book, although based on the short story ‘Trucks’, was also the ONLY movie King has directed himself. It’s the classic/awesome ‘Maximum Overdrive’ with Emilio Estevez
